Wine Tavern Peter Schandl in Rust

Only 168 steps away, you will find our wine tavern Buschenschank Peter Schandl. About two decades ago, the building was carefully restored. The old building structure with its unique cross vaults was preserved and a place was built, where our guests can enjoy their meal outside in the shade of wine arbours.

For us it is important to serve freshly prepared food from regional seasonal products. We offer fruits, vegetables and herbs from the Pannonian region, where they grow much better than in any other region in Austria, fish from Lake Neusiedl and wine from our family winery. We offer daily prepared spreads and roasts, marinated seasonal vegetables, as well as classics from the Viennese and Hungarian Cuisine. To our food we offer a great variety of international and national award-winning white, red and dessert wines, as well as sparkling wines from the winery, which is owned by our family since 1741.
